Hello fellow bloggers - It's St Valentine's Day. This is my first attempt at blogging so let's see how it goes. I feel incredibly lucky to be alive this sunny day. I have a parent and an in-law both in their nineties whom I see regularly; and in complete contrast I have two grandsons under five who brighten my life at least once a week. In case you conclude that I'm one of those people for whom life is always "a bowl of cherries", my son lives abroad, and I see him and his wife but once a year, and I must admit I do miss him.
My family is number One in my life. Peace and love to you all
It has been a tough year - deaths in the family. Politically I feel an outcast -
- I voted for the UK to remain a member of the EU; BREXIT prevailed
- I am not in favour of the decision to build the nucear power station at Didcot
- I oppose the decision to build a third runway at Heathrow Airport
I am a member of "the vast minority". I guess we have to just shut up and button the lip!
